This project was completed for a returning customer in Meltham, Huddersfield and included a full staircase renovation along with bespoke understairs storage. The existing newels were upgraded by cladding them in oak, with the staircase strings also finished in oak using a clean groove system for a more modern, refined look.
As part of the renovation, the wall beneath the staircase was removed to open up the space and allow for the installation of custom understairs storage. This included pull-out drawers designed to maximise storage while keeping everything easily accessible. The project was completed with new skirting boards and architraves to tie the space together and create a consistent, high-quality finish.
